It is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important non-profit organizations that promote responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector internationally. With this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model.
Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) together with the GRS are the two standards set up by Textile Exchange for recycled textile products. These products focus on the use of recycled raw materials and want to be innovative for environmental and social issues. Both standards require the release of an environmental statement checked by a third party that tests the content of the recycled materials of the intermediate and finished products.
The Forest Stewardship Council is an NGO that has created an internationally recognized forest certification system. The certification aims at the correct forest management and the traceability of derived products.
The use of natural fibers, their traceability on the production supply chain and the adoption of eco-sustainable processes has led to the formulation of an international standard known as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).GOTS makes it possible to produce and promote textile products respectful of the environment and of the fundamental social rights of the workers.
It is the development of verification criteria, limit values and test methods on a scientific basis, an independent and consistent control and certification system at international level for raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products in the textile sector at all levels of processing, as well as for the accessory materials used.
It is our OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification for recycled products.
This authorization gives the operator a "license" of reliability and solvency connected to a series of advantages for its customers during the shipping phase. The AEO authorization is valid all throughout the Community customs territory and is observed following an audit by customs.
The Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) describes and independently certifies animal welfare and land management practices in mohair fiber production, and traces the certified material from farm to final product.
The Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) independently describes and certifies animal welfare and land management practices in alpaca fiber production, and traces the certified material from farm to final product.
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) describes and independently certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool fiber production, and traces the certified material from farm to final product.
Products certified to the Organic Content Standard (OCS) contain organically grown material that has been independently verified at every stage of the supply chain, from source to final product.
